Meet our instructors and TAs.

Ted is a high school student in WA. He has experience teaching in a winter camp session about computer science introduction. He also worked on various personal projects around programming and different technologies and services.

Nathan is a high school student in WA. He had various leadership/teaching opportunities in his Middle school studies and has a strong passion for joining cloud classroom to gain the capability to influence kids and teach them the wonders of learning about history, language arts, science, and so much more!

Dabao is a student at Overlake in WA. Dabao has a passion for contributing to the greater community in ways he can.

Eric is a high student in VA. He has teaching experiences for young kids and wants to be able to help kids learn math.

Kyle is a senior student at Westwood High School in Texas. He plays the alto and tenor saxophone, and he is ecstatic to teach at Cloud Classroom.

Steven is a ski instructor, a formal martial arts teacher, and a free English tutor for kids from China. He loves to help other people learn and provide help when people are in need.

Alex is a high school student in WA. He has experience in Ruby, Java, and JavaScript and has a good understanding of data structure.

Kasturi Kirubaharan is an incoming 9th grader at Lynbrook High School. She has experience tutoring Algebra and Geometry students in grades higher than her. In addition, she is in the accelerated math pathway, which has allowed her to take Algebra in 7th grade and Geometry in 8th grade.

Viv is a college student at the University of British Columbia studying the sciences and has experience in tutoring and science outreach for secondary students.

Ethan is a high school student at the Overlake School. He has been programming for six years now, participated in many competitions, and led and created many projects and teams.

Peishan is an upcoming 8th-grade student from Overlake School, one of the top private schools in Washington State. She has been a taekwondo instructor for young kids since March 2019 and was also a teaching assistant in an English school in Beijing, China. Peishan enjoys anime, manga, cosplay, sports, and roleplaying games in her spare time.

Jacob Inocencio has six years of speech and debate experience, competing in parliamentary debate, impromptu, and extemporaneous speech events. He is a junior at Christian Brothers High School.

Lauren Kim has seven years of speech and debate experience and three years of Model UN experience. She was the captain of the St.Francis High School team. She was a national octofinalist for speech and did parliamentary debate for three years in middle school. She was recently awarded the Orator's Cup as a high-ranking member of her local leagueLauren will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall and is the valedictorian of her graduating class.

Eileen Wang is a sixth grader at The Overlake School. Her hobbies include the visual arts, reading, writing, and traveling.

Sophie is an upcoming sophomore at Skyline High School. She likes to read, enjoys math, and loves teaching.

Lero Wang, a rising 8th-grader in California, is a straight-A student and an avid reader and scholar who wants to show his support for his younger peers during this math course for 6th-graders at Cloud Classroom. He has passed K-5 math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I with all A’s and A+’s and has represented his school in various regional MathCounts competitions.

I am Emily, and I am a junior attending Westwood high school. I play flute in the school band, and I also love volleyball. I have a lot of experience teaching younger students, and I have even done a writing program for elementary schoolers with my friends. I am very excited to help more students and improve their writing skills!

Andrea is a certified Spanish teacher. She lived in Shanghai between 2010 and 2019, working at international and local schools and preparing Chinese students for various exams, including GCSE Spanish. For over 20 years, she has taught students at all levels, from kindergarten to university, at various schools in the UK, Hungary, China, and Spain. She has always had a passion for teaching and loves to share ideas about different cultures.

Yanda is a sophomore at Skyline High School, with a wealth of experience in programming and teaching. He is a two-time AIME qualifier, won first in ACSL’s 2020-2021 season with Yuelu Academy, and is the vice-president of FRC Team 2976. He has been TAing and leading groups in CS Wonders' Java and Python classes for the past two years, with 5 years of Java experience, 6 years of Python experience, and numerous past projects. Yanda is passionate about STEM education, especially for underrepresented minorities.

Alan Wu is a rising 10th grader at American Heritage High School interested in learning and teaching math. He has participated in math competitions since5th grade, going to many regionals and statewide competitions and frequently placing in the top 10 at those competitions.

Dinesh is a rising sophomore at Saint Louis University majoring in Health Management with minors in Biology and Business Technology Management. His area of study has allowed him to work with complex algorithms and mathematical simulations through a financial lens. In high school he also took AP Calculus BC as well as college level Calculus Il and won numerous awards in calculus and other math competitions.

Jacqueline Cai is a rising senior at Skyline High School. She is an active member of the Skyline robotics team and a former member of various FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge teams. During the past seven years, she's had experience coding with Scratch, Python, Java and applying those skills to robotics. During the pandemic, she created a school simulation program using Java for users to interact with the computer console.

Jonathan Wang is an up-and-coming 10th grader at American Heritage School who is very passionate about math, learning, and teaching. Starting his math competition career in the 4th grade, Jonathan has also traveled statewide for regional and national competitions. He has a healthy appreciation for math, but he also participates in cello for both an ensemble and as a soloist and is a black belt in taekwondo.

Kevin was a top high school student from Sacramento, CA, and is also a part of the National Honor Society. He will be attending the University of California Irvine as the class of 2024.

Matthew is an outstanding student getting ready for 8th grade at American Heritage School. He is very passionate about math and has experience teaching younger students. Starting at the age of seven, his math competition career has brought him awards from 1st to 5th.

Keira Castaneda is a 7th-grade student at The Overlake School. She enjoys reading, drawing, and fencing.

Mr. Julio Scull is a great writer and teacher. He has published hundreds of articles about culture, business, politics, intelligent solutions to problems. history, creativity, and critical thinking. At China University of Political Science and Law, he has taught MBA courses in business, international marketing, international business strategies, and international marketing for undergrad students. At Beijing Foreign Studies University, he taught business English and Latin American history and civilization. He also taught English and western culture to employees at The Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Beijing. After retiring, Mr. Scull has contributed his efforts and time to coaching young scholars in English language development, reading, writing, and boosting academic performance.‍
