Literary Analysis Seminar (G6-G9)

This course consists of structured fiction, poetry, and nonfiction units! Fiction units: students to read short stories, gain exposure to the essential in-story plot elements, and learn to annotate Poetry units: students to read one long poem and apply their knowledge of literary elements to analyze it. Nonfiction units: students to read, understand, and analyze argumentative and informative works with instructor's guidance. Note: All readings incorporated into the curriculum are AP-level material and will each be given a high-level analysis, the depth of which will depend on students' performance and concept absorption. The instructor may assign homework.
